IMEX 2026 in Frankfurt marked a special milestone for Sensape: for the first time, Sensape GmbH joined the Leipzig Convention Network and the Leipzig Convention Bureau at the world’s leading trade show for meetings, events and incentive travel – from 19 to 21 May 2026 at Booth A140. The show itself broke all previous records with historic visitor numbers. Sensape was right at the centre of it.
What Sensape Showed at IMEX
At the shared Leipzig booth, visitors could step in front of Sensape’s 55” Phantastic Promoter and be transported into a completely new visual world within seconds. The AI detects the person in front of the display and generates a high-quality, personalised photo in real time – embedded in an immersive, brand-aligned environment. At IMEX, this meant visitors experienced the AI-powered AR system live, were actively engaged, and walked away with a personalised Leipzig memory sent directly to their smartphone. Personal, instantly shareable, unforgettable.
The twist: Sensape used the logos and corporate designs of Leipzig’s convention partners – including the Congress Center Leipzig (CCL), the KONGRESSHALLE at the Zoo, Zoo Leipzig and the city’s top conference hotels – as the visual foundation. The AI transformed these brand worlds into immersive image compositions, turning every interaction at the booth into a personalised brand moment.
Sensape as Part of the Leipzig Convention Network
The Leipzig Convention Bureau featured Sensape in its official IMEX 2026 press release under the headline “Effective brand communication, made in Leipzig” – as an example of how innovative event partners make conferences and business events in Leipzig a truly memorable experience. The description fits well: Sensape doesn’t just inform – it activates.
Other strong Leipzig partners were also present at Booth A140: the Congress Center Leipzig (CCL), the KONGRESSHALLE at Zoo Leipzig, Zoo Leipzig (with ambassador lion TAMMI), the Leipzig Marriott Hotel, the Westin Leipzig, and two newcomers to the network: Haus Leipzig and H16.
A Crowd Magnet at the Show
The Sensape installation drew large crowds. The immersive AI-generated images created real attention – both on the show floor and beyond, through organic sharing on social media. Visitors who stopped by Booth A140 and had their photo taken left with an image good enough to post. That’s the whole point.
