Artificial Intelligence for sports marketing: Sensape at International Sports Convention in London
The Germany-based company develops interactive brand experiences based on artificial intelligence and augmented reality. Paris Saint-Germain, Disney and other worldwide brands have used their technology.
Bringing stars and their fans together - Sensape, the leading provider of interactive augmented reality (AR) solutions from Germany, attended the International Sports Convention (ISC) 2023 in London, showcasing their innovative AR technology and immersive brand experiences that captivated attendees. “We want to show how you can playfully make sports brands more emotional, interactive and successful with the use of artificial intelligence and augmented reality”, says Michael Lehnert, Commercial Director of Sensape.
Sensape started developing its own artificial intelligence 8 years ago, combining it with augmented reality to personalize brand experiences at places like events or point of sales. Sensape's interactive AR and AI-based solution has been implemented in various industries, including sports and entertainment. For instance, Paris Saint Germain, one of Sensape's clients, has integrated the solution in their fan store at Champs-Élysées and in the stadium to engage and captivate fans. This technology not only creates a unique experience for users, but also serves as a lead generator for brands, increasing merchandise sales and social media reach through user-generated content. Sensape's innovative solution has become an essential tool for sports clubs and license brands looking to stand out in a crowded market and elevate their brand to new heights. Sensape's AI technology recognizes who is in front of the device based on gender, age, 3D position, products and emotions, and reacts accordingly to it. For instance, it shows matching products of a club’s sponsor.
Various sports brands and teams have already successfully implemented Sensape's solutions to create unique and engaging fan experiences. The visitors at the Sensape booth had an opportunity to experience the solutions firsthand and learn more about how they can benefit their sports marketing efforts by cracking the high score of the AR header challenge or virtually meeting stars from various sports clubs.
